As Philadelphia celebrates Oktoberfest, come meet our special Frankfurt guests. Give a warm welcome to 40 high students from our Sister City of Frankfurt plus their Philadelphia peers and host families participating in Citizen Diplomacy's Sister City Student Exchange program. The German Society boasts a beautiful outdoor terrace, the large classic Horner library, and a cozy Ratskeller. Catch up on the Unity Cup results and bring your business cards to win in our card drop raffle!
First Thursdays are fun and interesting monthly cocktail receptions where you can meet State Department guests from abroad, Sister City representatives, international business professionals, foreign-born university students and expats from all over the world.
Each month, you will get a unique opportunity to visit a center city restaurant, private club or hotel and experience the best of the international community in Philadelphia. You can practice language skills, make new friends who share your love for travel and make professional connections that can help you learn first-hand about what's happening internationally. To add to the fun, you can enter our card drop drawing to win one of our favorite Philadelphia experiences (tickets to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, a Mural Arts walking tour, dinner for 2 at Chinatown's hottest restaurant).

Non-Member tickets - $15 in advance, $20 at the door
